KRISTIN HESS
Imagination is one of the strongest human abilities that we can not afford to lose.
While many of my pieces are based on real locations and animals, I use my art as an outlet to portray everyday life in a form of a story with a twist. My love of the ocean and the environment heavily influence my artwork. I love photographing underwater, because it is not an area that we see often. It holds its own stories and mysteries. I use ink for its versatile ability to create fine detail in pointillism and loose flowing strokes with a brush.
